20+ years as rural & remote paramedic / trauma counsellor
Who is Paul Spinks?
For more than 20 years, Paul Spinks has worn the uniform.
As a rural and remote paramedic and trauma counsellor, he answers the calls nobody wants; under scorching sun, in dusty paddocks, in remote Indigenous communities, in mining towns, on midnight runs.
He stands in lounge rooms where panic attacks, overdoses, and breakdowns rips families apart. He watches mates in blue death spirals. He holds the hands of men and women who believe they have no second chance.
These nights have taught him something simple and brutal: crisis isn’t random, it’s a map. And every map can be read.
He still wears the uniform, but now he brings those stories to the audiences who need it most.
He calls himself: The Outback Ambo™
Because every crisis has a seat, a siren, a whistle or a heart-stop beat, and someone needs to make sense of what follows.

Paul's Mission
- Too many organisations try to treat crisis after it arrives.
- Too many people wait until the cracks become fractures before acting.
- Too much time is wasted on generic “wellness” fluff that washes out by Monday.
- Paul speaks because he’s seen what happens when we ignore the cracks.
- He speaks because he believes prevention, clarity and connection can stop the spiral.
- He speaks because lives, and entire communities, depend on it.
His mission: Bring the ambulance-room truth into boardrooms, break rooms, classrooms, before the sirens do.

WHAT PAUL BELIEVES / CORE PHILOSOPHY
“Crisis isn’t a flash-bang. It’s a slow burn. Illness is not random. It’s the sum of silent choices. And what looks like a tough man coping can be a heart about to break. I don’t wait for the sirens anymore. I show people the cracks before the cliff.”
Paul believes in:
- prevention over intervention
- connection over isolation
- honesty over comfort
- responsibility over denial
- realness over hype
That’s Frontline Wellness™, and that’s what he offers.
PAUL’S JOURNEY AT A GLANCE

The wake-up call that changes everything.
Every organisation talks about wellbeing.
Few do something that actually keeps people alive, connected and accountable.
This is that something.
